Today is Johnny Appleseed Day! Johnny always wore a pot on his head and taught others about apples. We read about apples, counted apples, learned about Johnny Appleseed, taste-tested red, yellow, and green apples, and listened/danced to Apple songs!

Today second grade talked about how important it is to have details in their writing. Mrs. Davis asked students to give her instructions on how to make a PB & J and she took it very literally. Mrs. Davis ended up with a handful of peanut butter. Second grade was able to revise their instructions and make the perfect PB & J.
