November 8th was 2022 Midterm Election day. It was also Leesville Student Council Election day. We made up paper ballots and set up voting booths. The goal was to give the students a realistic voting experience. Leesville’s 2022 Student Council:

Leesville Blue jays salute our veterans! Happy Veteran's Day to those who have served! We recognized our local veterans with breakfast and a short program.

On Friday afternoon, third grade got the opportunity to go to the preschool classroom and read. They each got to pick their own preschooler to read to anywhere in the room. The students enjoyed reading books and interacting with the preschoolers!
